I've preached constantly about the power of an information-based business as the first side business to start as a physician, especially if you have no experience. Leverage your knowledge and get paid what you're worth in the form of ebooks, online courses, and even 1-on-1 consulting. Most know these as information products.

But you may not be familiar what I deem information services. This is when you hire people to share their knowledge with others and charge a price. That was the basis of one of my first online businesses- An "Ask the Doctor" paid Q&A site! I'll share what happened, how much it made, and why it had the best return on investment in terms of how much time I was spending on it.
