If you're new to real estate syndication, you may be surprised it's been around for decades. Simply put, this was crowdfunding, before the term came in vogue! Essentially real estate syndication is where like-minded investors can pool their capital together to jointly invest in real estate opportunities. One of the earliest and most famous examples of real estate syndication came in 1961, when 3300 investors bought individual parts of the Empire State Building for $10,000 apiece.
On today's episode, internist and founder of The Real Estate Physician, Dr. Cherry Chen answers your questions on real estate syndication, and why this may be the best example of building passive wealth through real estate for the busy clinician.
